How To Match Eye Shadow With Your Eye Color
www.bodychannel.net
Need an eyeshadow shade that looks cool with your eye color? Here's help.
For Blue Eyes:
1. Tried and True: taupe, gray, violet, purple, deep blue (a darker shade than your eye color makes your eyes really blue), black (mix it with bright blue for a smoky effect)
2. Funky Favorites: silver, turquoise, fuschia (brightens any shade of blue)
Green or Hazel Eyes:
1. Tried and True: brown, apricot, purple, plum, deep khaki or forest green (because they are in the same greenish family, they brighten green eyes)
2. Funky Favorites: gold, lime-green, really light green, bright purple (super modern)
Brown Eyes:
1. Tried and True: copper, bronze, champagne (soft pink with a touch of apricot), brown (for a doe-eyed look), beige, and khaki-green (lighter shades add highlight)
2. Funky Favorites: tangerine, royal blue, hot pink, lime-green (the contrast adds punch to brown)
All Eyes:
1. Tried and True (Classic): navy or charcoal base to define and a powder-blue shadow for highlighting (it brightens your brow bone so any eye color pops)
2. Funky Favorites: silver-sparkle shadow makes all eyes look edgy.

Any shade of purple at the on the top and bottom lashline or the eyelid will make green eyes the greenest. Use a dark green shadow in the crease of the eye to the outside corner, and then a light green shadow to the eyebrow. That is the best way to bring to make green eyes pop.

Complementary colors are what naturally make any eye color even brighter. The complementary color of green is red, so a subtle dark plum will bring out the green eyes in a very striking way. Wearing a red shirt will do the same thing.
I am green-eyed, so can relate. Have fun with it!

I have basically green, with a blue line around them, so I know and they change colors too! So, green eyes need the opposite affect sometimes, like blue for instance and gold, and yes, even green depending on what color your eyes change to. Just go light on the blue, too much will be overkill! And browns look good as well, even though they tend to make the green go a little blue. NO pinks. You will only look sick unless you are blessed with darker skin. So good luck!

Anything in the plum, purple, pink, or copper tones. These shade are going to make your green eyes pop. Wearing green shadow with green eyes will only cancel eachother out. You need to wear a color that is contrasting to your eye shade.

Browns and lavenders. Purple shades in direct contrast with green eyes will create a dramatic contrasting effect; a striking look perfect for evening. Brown tones give a natural effect perfect for daytime

I have the same eyes, they change from grey to blue to green. I think plum tones, brown tones, pink tones and gold tones look best on them. Bronzer shades also look awesome!!
