Get branches that have been cut down and are not needed. Make hundreds of copies of colored leaves made from paper. Put these all over the branches and prop the branches up for trees. Using your own paper leaves adds more interest and could have more visual impact. For staging use recycled skids or other wood that is not being used or check Home Depot for wood that is marked down. At home depot you also can get a small water pump that can be used fo a small natural pool with a flowing stream or waterfall.

What do you mean? Any place that is natural? Choose a desert, that way there are less trees and bushes to paint. Just dirt and sky, a few cactus plants...sounds like my yard!
