Your notation is not clear as to whether you mean 11/4 or 1 1/4. I will answer both alternatives.

You want to take the monthly vacation day allotment and make it into yearly vacation days. There are 12 months in a year. So you would multiply by 12. With the first alternative the answer is 12*11/4 = 33 days a year. With the second alternative, first convert the mixed number into a fraction: 5/4. Then multiply 12*5/4 = 15 days a year. To me the former is generous, but maybe not too unusual in Europe. The latter is definitely stingy.

12 months in a year times 1 1/2 days per month. Let's do some simple multiplication here... 15 days

Are you kidding? You obviously secured a job that isn't at a fast food joint or an "hourly" type job, yet you couldn't figure that part out?

No offense, though I'm sure you might feel offended, but you should bone up on some basic math skills in case they are needed in your job.

Good luck
