Try working on the deck of any US. Navy aircraft carrier.
You can get slashed, run over, suck in (into an engine's intake), blown over the deck (engine/propeller exhaust) and numerous other ways to end your life pretty quickly just for looking or be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Definitely not the military. It is actually safer to be in the US military than not to be for young people. They are big on safety. They used to give us safety speeches every Friday, every holiday and at the start of the 101 critical days of summer when most accidents occur.
