Consider seeing a doctor. If you rule out medical causes (health problems), you might want to see a counselor and/or join a support group. I think most people have issues with eating nowadays. We're surrounded by super-skinny people in magazines...and bombarded daily by news about obesity and dieting.

I get that too. I got it when I was little aswell and it seemed to go away but when I went to the doctor about it recently they just told me it was "all in your head" and probably due to some issues like not wanting to eat because i'd get fat or whatever.
Which is not true at all . And it's a real physical feeling which stops me eating. Sometimes after a ridiculously tiny amount of food.
Doesn't matter what I'm eating, if it's a salad, chocolate, something I enjoy, something i hate, something dry, potatoes, fruit etc. It's actually a lot worse with healthy food (maybe because there's more "bulk" and food in general?)
It also happens with liquids too! I can't drink much. Whether it's water, flavoured juice or big calorie laden drinks.
It's a lot easier to eat junk food so I don't know how they came up with the "anorexic mindset" with me.
Yours sounds kind of psychological though because you are saying it makes you feel horrible about yourself ..? Or do you just mean in general you don't like eating because it gives you that sick feeling? I'm the same. *sigh* Let me know if you find out what it is

It could be either a physical or emotional problem. But whatever it is, you need to see a doctor to determine the cause. You could be a borderline anorexic or have some other eating disorder. Or it could be psychosomatic - a bodily condition influenced by a mental state. You should see a doctor or therapist before this gets too out of hand. Could you possibly be pregnant? Nausea is a very common symptom in pregnancy. Maybe you have an ulcer or acid reflux. These are all uneducated guesses. See a professional to find out exactly what's causing your aversion to food.

Okay, this sounds like something I'm very familiar with. Did this come on suddenly? Of course I'm not a doctor, nor do I really rely on medical doctors (I see natural doctors) but what it sounds like to me is food allergies. Of course by "allergy" that could just mean intolerance and not necessarily an allergy. But either way your body is reacting to a lot of different foods if you're feeling sick every time you eat. Is there anything at all that you can eat without feeling sick? Try just eating very simple foods, like just squash and rice or something. You'll need to figure out what foods are effecting you. If you visit www.enterolab.com you can order a test to take that will tell you what food intolerances you have. Or you can check out www.naet.com and find a NAET practicioner who can test you with muscle testing and treat you for the allergies. That's what I'm doing right now. I initially tested positive for an allergy to gluten and once I started eliminating all gluten from my diet I was able to eat again. I've come to believe that the cause of all these sudden intolerances is systemic candida. The candida has to be eliminated-at least mostly. (I can tell you about that as well) and the food intolerances don't necessarily have to be permanent. They can be treated. E-mail me if you'd like to talk more about it. I could be wrong as far as your problem, but if you want we can talk.

It could be a eating disorder or you may have a nervous stomach related to another health issue, but question - Are you taking birth control??...
I called them "triggers" because I felt like someone held a gun to my head & said "take another bite & you'll throw it all up" It would make me so mad sometimes because sometimes I was eating something i really like & I'd have to put it up or throw food away so sometimes I would avoid eating.
I noticed I was having this problem when I was on the pill. I got sick daily on the pill & eventually stopped taking them, and for a couple years afterwards it would still happen. Ocassionally I get them now & i stopped taking them 5 years ago. I would definately recommend seeing a doctor though.

in case you have been allergic to peanuts (inc. peanut butter) then you definately would strengthen an itchy rash, your mouth would tingle and swell and so would desire to your eyes. in case you had a severe allergic reaction your airlines would swell up and your blood rigidity would drop dramatically. you would be liable to loss of life if this wasn't dealt with immediately at a well-being facility. perchance you have an intolerance - do no longer confuse intolerance with hypersensitive reaction - in hypersensitive reaction, histamine (a protein) is produced which motives the indicators and is risky in large quantities - in intolerance your physique purely would not like the substance for some reason and you sense mildly ill as a result.

Yes, I know the symptoms. You are pregnant. Take a pregnancy test. If the test comes back negative or your symptoms change and/or don't get better, go see a doctor. If it comes back positive, make an appoinment with your obstetrician. It is normal for pregnant women to get nausea when they eat.

If you are absolutlely positive that you are NOT pregnant- sounds to me like you could have an eating disorder. I would make an appointment with my family doctor and have him examine you and probably will want to run some routine tests.

Maybe you have an eating disorder? Sometimes you subconsciously get an idea and your body follows through with it. Do you have a bad body image?
