Avocados are a food that is very nutritious and often forgotten. You can scape some on a spoon and hand the spoon to them Also don't forget some cooked apples either steamed or baked. Another idea is egg custard and like everyone else says small soft pieces that will not in anyway choke. This could be different for any child .you know if your child is prone to it .....some are more than others Also giving a utensil to a one year old to learn to maneuver is OK they will have fun trying to get pieces on it and you can congratulate them when they do!

Mushy stuff I took regular food as long as it wasnt too spicy and put it into the blender and gave that to my toddler . I purreded it and it was soupy enough for my girl to eat saved me money on baby food which is what purred food is... food in a blender.Mashed potatoes too I vaccumed sealed the rest for another time also put food in little icecube trays and in vaccume sealer that. It was easy to dispense and easy to feed. When she got teeth I added more consistancy to the food.I cut things up ultra small for her to chew. I never left her alone to chew I was always right there. When begining to feed baby they will let you know when they have had enough. Enjoy your baby.

Please dilute the following
with his milk in the feeding
bottle:
1. Cerelac (baby food- various
flavors are available)
2. Please give him rice flake
powder with milk.
3. Roasted wheat powder
in milk.
4. Potato & Milk churned
in a blender/mixer.
5. Boiled apple(without skin)
churned with milk in a blender/mixer.
6. Can try boiled tomato soup
(filtered)made at home.
7. Can give him fresh orange
juice, extracted at home.
8. Can give him vegetable
soup as well.
You have to choose & give him these
in small quantities mixed with sugar.
You may also try adding little salt
to see if he likes.
All the above contain natural vitamins
, protine and calcium. You don't need extra
doses of any of these at this tender age.
You will have wonderful time with the
child to know his taste and feed him
through bottle and subsequently, the
baby will ask for such food, he likes.
All the best.

My baby is turning one. She has two teeth (I thought that was bad couldn't imagine none!) Anyways I just feed her table food! Just about anything I just cut it into pieces I know she won't get chocked on! But you may need to stick with softer foods like cheerios in milk, french fries, green beans, etc. Thing like that! Good Luck!!!! Hope your baby gets teeth soon!!!

veggies from a can. the baby can pick them up and eat them with no help at all. they are soft enough that gumming them works. also give cut up bananas. get the little alpabet pastas and over cook them put a little bit of ketchup for flavor and mix with canned peas. my son loved this before he got teeth. he could eat it without anyhelp and it was mushy so he didnt need any teeth:)

As long as foods are soft, babies can chew just about as good with their gums as they could with their teeth. Some examples are steamed carrots, broccoli, toast, eggs etc. Here's a website that I found extremely helpful and taught me a lot. God bless

Hmm, mushy vegetables is good but if they don't like to be spoon fed try soup! The key though is persistence because you don't want them to grow up to be a fussy eater, they will only be fussy if they know they can get away with it.
