ummm, because you could get preggers. It is not a magic pill, it still takes time for the hormones to kick in. Didn't you talk to your doctor about this?

you don't have to wait a month to have sex you can use condoms, but for extra protection the pill is necessary. The hormones in the pill need to regulate with your body so it can become effective, the next period you get would usually be when the pill is working effectively. Using condoms on the side with the pill is a good way for protection though. Its up to you whether you want to use both, just remeber the pill isn't a 100% guarenteed but neither is and method alone

You have to wait because your body is going through chemical changes which will regulate your period to begin and end with the cycle of the pills. During this time....you become more vulnerable and suseptible to becoming pregnant due to the fact that the pills will ..when it is the right time of the cycle....fool your body into thinking it is ovulation time. After a full lmonth has gone by....your body is into this new cycle and you should be safe. Do not be mislead......pills do not always work either....I for example am a pill baby and my mom took her pills faithfully!!!

you dont have to wait one month ( is it your first time taking the pill) Just with unprotected sex. Your body needs to get used to the pill. See they dont ask for one month though they tend to say 14 days. Dont worry or dont stress you might go through a few spotting but it all gets better with every new pack you finish.

You don't have to wait a month to have sex, you just need to continue using condoms- it takes that long for the hormones in the pills to do their job.

you don't have to wait a month to have sex, you just have to wait a month for the pill to fully take effect. Therefore, you should not have sex without a condom until you have been on the pill for at least a month. It takes that long your body to respond to the "chemical" and act appropriately.

It takes that long for the hormones in the pill to take over and do their job - which is to keep you from getting pregnant.
I didn't wait and that is how my first child was conceived!

because your cycle is a month(28 days) long. Use a condom. If you don't understand how it works, don't take chances. Go to webMD.com and read up on it.
