After every meal she is spitting up some. I will give her the usual food and then nurse her and she usually spits up within 10 minutes a little. Any ideas?

It is possible that she has Acid Reflux Disease or GERD, which is basically just chronic heartburn in which stomach acid travels all the way to the mouth. I've had it almost my entire life and my mother said that I began spitting up at about that age too. You might want to have her checked just in case, so that she doesn't develop esophogeal damage. Good luck!

My son was born with acid reflux. This might be the extreme but, he spit up all the time. The docs had us give him 2 ounces of formula every 3 hours. Im not to sure if you are able to do that nursing. I would call the doc though. Maybe an infection in the breast milk?

More than likely it's Acid Reflux. My little one was born with it and now he has to have Enfamil AR and he is on Prevacid. His spitting up was really bad, sometimes his whole bottle. I felt so bad because the doctor said he had burned his esophagus because no one realized he had it. It's sometimes overlooked. My little boy is 6 months old now.
Just take your little girl to the doctor, tell them what is going on and they should be able to get her all fixed up.
Prevacid is the extreme medication. They might be able to start her on a Zantac syrup if she does have it. That's what they started my boy on but it just didn't work for him.
Good luck on your little one, I hope you figure out what is causing it. I hope she is a happy and smiley baby overall.

Maybe you should not nurse as long. She maybe getting too full. Or you could wait a little while before nursing. You didn't say how long she's been doing this, but a week or two is long enough to wait for a call to the pediatrician. It could be she's ready to stop nursing.

I wouldn't worry. Babies are always spitting up, and it just might be a sudden phase she's going through. If she keeps up with this, I recommend going to the doctor for a check up. But for now, feed her, clean her, take care of her. Anything too serious would go to the doctor, but babies always tend to spit up all the time. =J

my nephew had that but it wasn't acid reflux it was a kind of reflux though that required surgery very short and simple -something to do with the skin that connects under the tongue it is often known as tongue tied and interrupts their feeding and if not corrected can bother their speech patterns. talk to your doc
