How about electronic voting versus paper voting...which is better, difficulties in switching over, potential of hacking and cheating, cost, and "dangling chads" of paper (Florida Gore vs. Bush)

Defining the category of Red state/blue state would be more interesting to me than democrat/republican. In order to be convincing in a compare/contrast paper you need to be objective.
