I like them alot. I had bought a 325i new in '03 and really liked the looks and performance as well as the great warrenty they come with but it was too small for me. The 530i would be a great choice.

the BMW 530i is a fantastic piece of German engineering. Although the design was initially 'love it or hate it', but it's acceptance is getting better.

Both Petrol and Diesel 530i are excellent performers. Well-balanced, and perfect handling. It's a driver's car with good ride comfort too.

It has class, sports handling, 4 doors and a boot. Very well packaged.

I used to drive Mercedes and Lexus. But once you drive a BMW, there is no turning back.

I say: Go for it! No regrets.

I had a 5 series (530Dsport) and it was an excellent car in nearly all ways. When I wanted a new one I test drove the newer stye 5 series and it was simply rubbish in comparison.

I have ended up with a 2.7 twin turbo A6 Audi, a brilliant car far better than the 2006 5 series BMW

It's basically a 3 series - but a bit larger.

I understand that if off warrantee it would be more expensive to repair for the same work done in a 3 series.

Convinced me to stay with the 3 series. :-)

I bought a used one from my dealership - and got it pre-certified. It has an extended warrantee that is good till January 2009 or 100,000 miles, which ever comes first. And they fix rotors, brake pads, do oil changes -- it won't cost me any more money. I love it.

If you want a big body beamer, go with the 7 series. If its too much money get one 1-2 yrs. old. I like the BMW 335i thats coming out this year (2007). badass.

the 530 i series is a nice ride,,it has the luxury of a real expensive vehicle but is still priced within reason,,i own a repair shop, and have test drove one with a customer, who is going to buy it,,there is great improvement over last years mode in horse power also,,the one we drove was demo,,and the power mirrors wouldn't work on it,and it new, other than that it was nice, but the mirror issue concerned my customer greatly,,I'm sure the one he buys will work,,good luck you choose a good car that should last very well,,i hope this help,s.
