My girlfriend and I have been dating for three months, and I can already tell that I'm falling for her. We had an argument last week, and things changed...I want to try my best to get them back. She's already told me she doesn't want it to end...she's not giving up. I need some ideas for things to do for my girlfriend and/or with my girlfriend to reassure her that I am the one she's meant to be with. Ladies...what's some things that your man has done that took your breath away? I'm looking to do the same thing. (I know how to play the guitar, and am very good with romantic words and we live approximately 15-20 miles from the atlantic ocean).

Reason why I say "very little money" is because I don't have all that much.

Write her a song, take her to the beach and just walk along the ocean, take her on a picnic, just about anything that is intimate and personal. My ex-husband got me to actually start dating him because he had asked me to come to his unit's softball game that night, but I said no. After I left his barracks room, he printed a poem he had written to me and chased me down in my room to give it to me. The end of the poem he asked me to BE his girlfriend. I wound up going to the game that night, and every one after it for the next five years. All for a poem and a softball game. While we were engaged, I had physical training in the evening, and didn't eat dinner most nights. He would go to the chow hall and get my dinner for me in a to go box and bring it back to his room, so that when I got done and came to see him, I had no excuse to not eat. He didn't like seafood all that much, but he still took me to Red Lobster for dinner occasionally, not just for my birthday, just to make me smile. His favorite thing was when we would watch a movie that scared me, and keep hiding my face in his chest until I fell asleep with my head in his lap. It is all little stuff, but it is so much more personal and meaningful than anything that requires money.

You pretty much answered your own question. Just pick a night that's fairly cool and breezy, get a cooler and a bottle of sparkling juice (or champagne, if you drink), and a blanket, and head out to the beach at night and sit out under the stars. You may even want to bring a few sub sandwiches with you if you get hungry. Some of the best things in life are free (or nearly free). Oh, and don't forget to bring a boombox. Or maybe you could serenade her with your guitar. But be careful for teenage punks looking for trouble. Just stay in a well-lit area with other people around. Enjoy!

Awww , that is very sweet of you , reminds me of my boyfriend. My b/f raps , so he found a nice beat online and wrote a song for me and sat me down and rapped it .. that took my breath away. Since you know how to play the guitar , write her a nice song and take her to the beach at night ( if you guys are old enough to stay out late ) and have a picnic basket and sing her the song. Oh yeah don't forget the flowers , it doesn't have to be expensive at all just a nice bunch of flowers will do.

If you know how to cook you can cook her fav. dish and invite her over for dinner. You have a great advantage with the guitar and song so keep that in your plans.

Good Luck

I would suggest taking her on a romantic walk on the ocean...if you can afford it buy her a single rose on the way before you pick her up....it doesn't have to be a rose though....I like wildflowers myself and I also like sunflowers so be creative.....it doesn't have to cost much....if you are good at words, we all love poems.....that has always worked for me.....it makes us feel special when you take the time to write something.....a song is even better if you can do that....you need to be you.....don't copy someone else...be yourself because ultimately that is who you want her to see.....and love. It sounds like you already have very beautiful ideas in mind for her....go with them.....tell her how you feel.....things will work out for the best in the end....if you are meant to be together you will be.....Good luck!

i think the most romantic things are free. Like driving around an area of town and looking at the old beautiful houses. Also short trips to beautiful places are great. Or even a playful trip to the zoo!
Personally I don't find someone playing music to be romantic, in fact it makes me uncomfortable.
The one thing that ruins a romantic gesture is the old question of "what do you want me to do?". Whatever you do, have it all figured out and planned, don't rely on her to tell you.
good luck!!

Don't try so hard. Be honest with how you feel. Some women like unexpected gifts at unexpected times. Some women like to HEAR how wonderful they are. Some women like it when you DO something for them. Some women like to be touched. Read, "The Five Love Languages" to find out what your girl likes and do it.

Get a cheap colored vase and fill it with stones....but on the stones in a gold or silver pen, write down qualities that you like/love about her.

A romantic gesture that will be sure to get her!!!!

Go to school and get a good job - the girl friend should be secondary to your studies. I am grate full that that is the way my husband did it.
