She tries to get close to me alot, i catch her staring, then she smiles and looks away, when she's showing me how to do something, she'll brush her arm or hair up against my arm, then she'll talk bad about me to her other friends..which i don't get why, i'm not a bad student. Is this something i should be worried about or will it just pass over?

Speak with a responsible adult. If you have this suspicion someone should know about it. First tell your mom, dad or an adult relative. They should be made aware of your uneasiness and the reasons. Don't feel that you are doing something wrong. You have a right to an education and a right to be free from fear.

It seems that this has been happening more than once already. The school principal must be notified. This can then be done with the help of your family

This is 2006. All teachers are aware of the law and its consequences.

DO NOT encourage this behavior, despite what Galevalo said. Trust your instinct and tell your parents and make an appointment with the school councilor/principal. Go to the appointment with your parents. She will probably not get in trouble for this, but most likely, the principal will talk to her. Ask to switch to another class to avoid the awkward feeling that will come up if you stay in her class afterwards. If she is trying to flirt with you, it needs to stop immediately, because this is completely unprofessional and unethical. It might be that she doesn't realize that it comes off as flirting to you, and she's just trying to be overly friendly in class--but she needs to realize that her behavior is causing you to feel violated. You'll be doing yourself a favor, as well as your teacher and any other students that this may be happening to, by putting a stop to it now.

Look at it logically if she is hot and your over 16 then make a move when you guys are alone. For example put your arm around her just try to play it cool if she isn't flirting with you just being really nice. Hope it works out.

If it doesn't pass and you feel threatened, tell your parents or the Principal of the school.
