My mother-in-law found a really cute pumpkin costume for my girls when they were little from Dillard's, it came with a hat and they looked so cute. All three girls got to wear this outfit. As for online that might not work, you would want to see how big it is (if it is too heavy for a baby you won't know until it arrives). You want something that won't weigh down the baby. So go to Walmart, K-Mart, Dillard's, etc and see what they have and have fun.

A lot of costume shops sell them for babies. It's the usual stuff though. Pumpkins, pea pods, clowns stuff like that. If you are into odd costumes(like me!!!) then you can make your own. Very easy! My daughter was as cow for her first just a sleeper with a cow on it, a bell, and some floppy ears. Be creative! This year, my best friend and I, her daughter, and my three kids are going as characters from Alice in Wonderland. I found a puple and pink striped sleeper(in the girls section) so my 9 month old boy is gonna be the cheshire cat. Before he was born, my daughters were thing 1 and 2. Just a red sweatsuit, some blue hair spray, and a piece of felt on each tummy that said thing 1 and 2. If you need more ideas, let me know.

I love babystyle.com! They have costumes from newborns to toddlers and they are really inexpensive. I just bought an adorable blue octopus costume for about $30 for my 12 month old nephew. He's just so cute!

I found this awesome site that has lots of really cute costumes for babies. They are all really reasonably priced too. I got the hot pepper one for my son. They have some like pizza, banana, ketchup, and mustard, just to name a few. Most of them are buntings so that they will stay warm while you are out. They have some that aren't also. Check it out, I hope you find one that you like!!!

Target had some really cute and inexpensive costumes. There were these gorgeous princess and fairy costumes for little girls. Pirates too.

But I have to agree that pumpkins are always cute

I saw a cute one last year...
They dressed the baby as a train engineer and then they took a little red wagon and built a train around it (with cardboard & paint). When the baby was sitting in the wagon it looked like it was driving the train.
