What do you think of gay parents/adoption?

Are any gay parents scared that their children's angels do always behold the face of God?

Jesus preaches love a lot in the Bible but honestly the passage about being cast into the sea kinda took me aback it seems sorta out of character with all those messages of love.

Perhaps he takes it seriously.

I know I have said a lot about how I love all people. ANd I do. But I just get angry when innocent children's souls are being exposed to a house which downright sexual perversion is being carried out.

Gays if u really love children leave them alone. They can't fend

you really need to quit asking questions in this forum, and "using" religion to justify your bigotry. obviously, you think we're all going to hell and don't think we should be parents. we do you keep repeatedly posting your biased questions, and then claim you only want to help us?
I know many gays/lesbians that are great parents. there are lots of people, straight and gay, who are great parents, and some who aren't. sounds like you are insinuating that we will harm children somehow. it makes US angry that you imply us being parents hurts children. what are children having to fend against? it shouldn't matter who your parents are, only that they love and provide for their children.

Gay parents have to overcome a lot of discrimination from quasi-relgious hypocrites like you to have children. All this work makes me 1000% sure that gay parents truly want children, and will bring them into a loving household. I wish all children were as wanted!

If you are truly concerned about ridding the world of perversion, why not stop preaching hatred, bigotry, discrimination and therefore violence against LGBT people? How do you have the gall to call yourself "christian" when your words and thoughts show you to be exactly opposite?

Are you for real???? All those children in second-rate group homes and foster homes and you are concerned about what the Bible says...I thought I had seen it all, but I was not prepared for this...Honestly lady, have you ever had a thought which you haven't let the Bible influence on their own??? People care to much for the end, when they should be concerned about the present. Those children that you would rather be unadopted would end up being in alot worse trouble than if some nice couple wants to adopt them. Gay or straight shouldn't matter. Love is love.

Why dont you stick to the religion and spirituality room. You will fit in well with the hatred spewing people there. How dare you say you love ALL people and then call us perverts? If there is any perversion it is the way you fundamentalists have perverted the bible to suit your own political agenda. Children can grow up quite well with gay parents and the vast majority will grow up straight. There is more abuse by straight parents than gays, so chew on that. Maybe straights should be forced to give up their kids for adoption by gays who will show them love.

i haven't any concern with gay couples adopting. everybody has to fulfill the comparable standards for adoption, earnings, stability, ability to parent, etc. that's a especially thorough technique! i think of sexual orientation is especially a techniques down the checklist for issues to be stressful approximately. i'm extra responsive to international adoptions and there are some international places that do enable it. I think love is love, and children need love. Parents who have love to give to a child should have the right to find a child who needs a parent's love.

What of swingers, or those who practice infidelity, or molest their own FLESH AND BLOOD?
Most victims of child molestation are molested by a CLOSE FAMILY MEMBER, usually that person is STRAIGHT!

I clicked on to you question and answered it. I skimmed over all the bible verses and your own personal opinions that everyone must know. Just because people are gay does not mean that you or anyone else should take away their basic rights to happiness marriage and parenting. If you are trying to witness you are only getting points with other Christians. you turn the people you are trying to help off and away.

First of all your bible has been so changed and changed over the centuries in conversion that what you dont realize is in conversion from one language to another changes many of the things in written things.... and when you try to read a book in fits and spurts instead of the way it was intended to be read... you also loose much of what it was inteded to mean...

It often bothers me that so called "christians" that are supposed to Love people and "let their light shine" so others can supposidly choose the right path by seeing the right path in their lives...
but so many "christians " miss that in their lives by acting like idiots and spewing hate language and using the bible as a wepon against others..

some churches have signs that read "loving God , loving People" but then they proceed to preach hate and spew hate at those that dont live the lives that they dont agree with.. instead of trying to show these people love and grace...

You're right of course.
Kids with hetero parents who are molested, beaten up, emotionally abused, tortured, ignored and neglected, raped, forced into work at an early age, live in squalor and poverty and shunned by society have it MUCH better than kids raised in a loving environment by 2 gay parents.
If YOU really love children, why don't you do some volunteer work with abused kids. Then tell me, how many of those kids have been raised in a hetero household.
What does your bible say about that?

I'm not one who supports gay marriages as it is against my beliefs, however, I have some friends who are gay and I do not judge my friends as individuals...just don't agree with everything they do, and they know that. That being said...I work in the social service field and see way too many children being shuffled through foster homes and put in endangering situations with heterosexual couples. With the number of kids without homes I am all for a loving homosexual couple taking in a child.
