What was it that the constitution was really intended to do. I know aboy how it sets up the three branches of gov't and checks and balences but other than that is there some under line message that it gives or a moral code it establishes?

I've looked it up and it's given me nothing. It is my homework but the thing is I don't have a government or history book b/c I'm in high school and I haven't had that class yet but the homework is for a college class I'm taking while I still in high school

It gives us the right to free speech, free press. the right to keep and bear arms. The right to speeck out against the goverment without fear of prosacution. And so much more. Read it sometime.

The Original Constitution closely followed by Bill of Rights is the extremely well thought out blueprint, that has allowed the only country to vote itself a democracy to stay in existence over two hundred years. With all the Bushes that have come and gone that makes it one very masterful thing.
