We don't have a name or even a year, just that a man died in our home. In Canada are there records kept of where someone died, and how would you access this?

Go to your city clerk's office. The records will be there and there's usually a small charge to view them (like $3).

Go to Google and type in the name and city and state where it happened and see what pops up.

check to see if you could get records of all that have in the house before you and maybe that will help you find the answer that you are looking for.

Do you mean murdered or just passed away?
