According to wiki he got 'Edison Medal. He was also made a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and accepted invitations to become a member of the American Philosophical Society, and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Because of his research in electrotherapy and his invention of high frequency oscillators, he was also made a fellow of the American Electro-Therapeutic Association'. Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) created a Nikola Tesla Award.
On July 10, 2006 in honor of his 150th birthday the biggest airport in Serbia (Belgrade) was renamed Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport.
The Tesla crater on the far side of the moon and the minor planet 2244 Tesla are named after Tesla.
Two of the coal fired power stations run by Electric Power Industry of Serbia, TPP Nikola Tesla A and TPP Nikola Tesla B, are named in honor of Tesla

I think that's enough shtuff named after him. You probably didn't even know tesla is the unit for magnetic induction until you watched Mythbuster on discovery channel.

Well, he did not invent everything, but he did more than most would allow, and probably more will come out as the rest of us catch up with him. He got into a battle with Thomas Edison over whose current would win out, his AC or Edison's DC. He won, but paid a very dear price for his win, as Edison had much more clout. It often comes down to who controls the press.

I have no idea. I do know that he died poor, though. All he cared about was inventing. That was his life. It's a shame. The guy whose inventions power the computer that I am typing this on gets no credit for it whatsoever.
