Oh yeah they sure do. It is called STRS. This is how it works, a certain percentage is taken from your check monthly and the district matches it plus 1/2%. In my district the pull 8% pre-tax from my check and the district contributes 8.5%. So basically you are saving 16.5% pre-tax toward your retirement. I think it is a pretty awesome deal. Although, you can not claim or receive S.S. benefits.
