Ah, buncha things.
Make a long list of potential titles. Don't stop to think of what they might mean. Just randomly put together titles. You can start off with movie titles or favorite book titles and move on from there.
Romancing the Blank.
Blanking the Stone.
(whatever it takes to get rolling.)
Do this for a set period of time, non-stop. Ten minutes will probably do the trick, or you could do it longer if you get rolling.
Now...go back to your list and start making up ONE LINE interpretations of what each title would be about. Do as many of these as you can. Try to get thru the entire batch. Some will be too bad or too silly to use. Some of them will trip your imagination.
Save these in a file, by the way. You can keep coming back to this list and building it, whenever you feel creative.
Or you can start with character. Start describing a character. See where he (she) takes you.
Or start off with plot. (I don't like to use existing books as a jumping off point but...)If it is genre that you're writing, look up some synopses of some books you haven't read, and improve on them. Change everything, and see if that gets you started.
I just googled a suggestion that says to google your plot, here:

What kind of novels do you write?
...I personally do not write novels and such, though I do write. I suppose it all depends on a mood. Take time off, go somewhere where you can just relax and think. It always helps. When the time is right, an idea will come to you...
(laughs) Okay, that was stupid. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is just write whatever you feel like. Sometimes when I have writers block, I write down random thoughts about whatever I'm thinking about. I also take past experiences and friends' experiences, friends, myself, people I've met, and will, maybe, meet, and use that to form a character. I guess that's all I have to say for the moment..but I'll probably come back and rewrite this WHOLE THING.

Try to come up with a new main character for your story (something a little out of character for you - something not tackled before). Write down a description - male, female, eye color, etc. etc.
Then take this character and imagine then in some odd place or scenario – anything goes! Write down ideas on what would have to happen to your character or how they would react to the scenario you placed them in.
You can do this for multiple characters if you like.
This may seem futile, but it will help you flesh out some characters and give you insight into what you may want to happen to this type of character in a potential story. You may even come up with multiple story lines!
Strong well crafted main characters can inspire readers to love your story as well as drive you to write a great story for these imagined beings so be in! :-)

Take some index cards and write down something you want to write about on each one. Then crunch them into little paper balls, throw them at something, then pick up a couple and there's your story. OR, if you have nothing in particular to write about then write take some time off to relax and get your writer's edge back.
Good luck:D

I hope you don't plan to publish them if this is an example of how you write. Why not take some lessons first. Writing is not a game.
