i am deciding on a pet and i have a few requirements. And basically, it has to be playful or not really lazy.

a tortoise will not be real playful,it will have its moments but for the most part you are going to sit a watch it.not seeing much movement .feeding them can be pretty cool.

Tortoises are 1-not playful 2-lazy and 3-totally not cuddly. So.....yeah. Get a goldfish or something.

yes they make good pets but they do smell and require a lot of work on the part of the owner as do all pets. they are not playful

I don't think tortoises are very playful animals. You sound more like u need a dog

No even zoos have a rough time with them. They are not easy to care for and require a large set up.

tortoises are bit of slow moving very silent.and they are not at all play full so it is better if you go for some thing else.
