im 18 days late with my period. me and my husband have been trying to conceive. i had sore breast/nipples for over a week straight and today i dont. i may be pregnant, if i am, i am 7 weeks pregnant. i took a preg test today and it says neg, so im going to the clinic to do the blood test tomorrow. i started getting dry mouth a weeks ago, yesterday i was fine and today my mouth is dry all over again. for a week it felt like my period was coming but it didnt. i have been gaining weight a little also. does anyone know what this could be? could it be im preg and the test is inaccurate? or could it be something else? any experience

yeah i think there is a good possibilty that your pregnant and it just might be so early that a urine test isnt picking up the hcg ......i had a very dry mouth through all my pregnancies good luck

Maybe you're pregnant, maybe you're not.
The "percentage" of pregnancy hormone in the body needs to be high enough for tests to read positive.
Blood tests usually are the best indicators earlier on, one way or the other.
"Dry mouth", whether associated with pregnancy or not, is an indication a person needs to drink more water.

Those tests are 99.9% accurate. Now there is that.1% so it maybe wrong. I never got dry mouth but my nipples were sore. You may have just skipped a pierod that can happen or you could have a clot. Its good to see a doctor about that

You could very well be pregnant. You may just not have enough pregnancy hormone in your system for a urine test. I have never had a dry mouth though. I hope that everything works out well for you though!
