I used to go to great lengths, until it occurred to me that, better than half the time, I really didn't want whatever it was once I got it.

as far as my touch can reach,
as far as my eyes can see,
as far as my sense of smell drags
me closer to what i want and from there
i may enjoy from my travels that what
i want was not really too far away, only
the thought of reaching that destination
made it seem like a place far far way,
when actually it only took a moment of
measure in wanting what i want as being
right here in front of me ......

Since I want to finish my education, I will be traveling about 80 miles a day to do this, about 40 miles one way.
