WordPerfect is not by Microsoft. It's a Corel program. Microsoft's program is Word. You can get a Word Viewer for free from the Microsoft website. It will allow you to open and read Word documents but not allow you to edit them. Corel has a similar viewer for WordPerfect. If you want the full program for either one, you will have to buy it.

Microsoft doesn't make Wordperfect, it makes Word. Makes a small difference. :)
If you just need to look at, but not change, Word files, you can download the Word Viewer from Microsoft's web site at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=95E24C87-8732-48D5-8689-AB826E7B8FDF&displaylang=en . If you need to edit them, then I second the recommendation that you download OpenOffice, which is a completely free replacement suite for Microsoft Office. You can find the different versions http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.3/index.html?focus=download . Be careful to choose the Windows or Mac version depending on what kind of computer you have.

If you go to MS site they have msword perfect to use on line. Otherwise go to a site and download one of the free ones. Just type in wordprograms and a list will come up then choose the one you want.

try openoffice, its free and works with windows files.
