Human Trafficking. Lots of young Eastern European women are lured into this by advertisements such as "come to U.S to be a nanny, actress, model, etc" Once they arrive at the airport their passports and all their possessions are taken from them. They are forced into prostitution. It's modern day slavery. this is just the tip of the iceberg. You will find many articles on this on the internet. I just did a research paper on this and got an A.

Report on the feminization of boys (and men) in America. Christina Hoff Sommers wrote an excellent book about it, "The War Against Boys." You can start from there and find quite a few articles about it. The topic is sure to piss off your teachers.
And if you're allowed to quote a website, use this one:

The mere mention of a source called "Testosterone Nation" is sure to cause a reaction that is not to be missed...

I think I have seen this same question before on Y.A.
But just in case I didn't here is a suggestion.
Go buy a newspaper and pick a topic. Everything in the paper is controversial, so whatever you choose will surely get a reaction from somebody.

Malaria & DDT. This is really hot right now, b/c the World Health Org (google it!) just re-approved the use of DDT to save millions of lives that were lost when the EPA banned it decades ago.

I haven't read the above link in a few months, but I'm sure there are links within it for your other two source-articles.

Wow where to start..
How about global warming, and how one side seems to want to be alarmist and paint us like the world is coming to an end, while the other said says the data really isn't that bad. (e.g. new research shows the temp in the middle ages was warmer than now, and they didn't have cars, factories, or greenhouse gases).
All you have to do is google climate control, global warming, etc

Is the primary reason for women's fashion to make it hard for her to run from males?
Tight skirts, high heels, restrictive undies...all make it hard for her to run.
Research as far back as you wish....fashion is designed to enslave her.
Not that I have any problem with that....
