I always usually push the "minute button" like 2 times until the popcorn stops making the popping noise.

I don't even look at the bag, I just hit the popcorn button every time. I haven't lit one on fire for more than year now- that was what I got for following the instructions on the bag.

this is weird....what a co-incidence, . I just took a bag out of the microwave about 10 seconds ago...... can you still smell it?
mine doesn't have a popcorn button, I just put it in on high and wait til I hear the popping slow down. ok now it's cool enough to open......

Yes. I wait until there are 16 seconds left on the timer and then take it out. It's the magic popcorn is done number, popped to perfection every time.

I just put it in and when the popping stops....it is done.
Those buttons on the microwave aren't reliable.
Seems it takes longer than they say it does.

I used to, until I tried a new brand and it burned! Now I have to actually wait by the microwave until it stops popping.

No, because it never cook the popcorn seed all the way through, I use the regular temperature!!!
