When given a problem like this, the easiest way to figure it out is to take the first fraction and multiply it by the reciprocal, that is, basically flipping the second fraction around.

(-5/8)/(-5/6) = (-5/8)(-6/5) = 30/40 or 3/4

when you divide you have to make it a multiplication to do so you must flip the denominator. So if you have (-5/8)/(-5/6) it becomes -5/8 times -6/5. The answer will be the miltiplication of the top over the multiplication of the bottom so you get 30/40, which is the same thing as 3/4.

3/4 because when you divide fractions you flip the second one and then multiply so it would be (-5/8) x (6/-5) then the -5s cancel out and what you have left is (6/8) which simplifies to (3/4)
