What kind of career do you have that allows you to travel all over the world?

How did you go about getting to that point? I am sick of my desk job.. I need something interesting to do. I want to travel. Help me.

Some of those are not so obvious. The engineer and tech ones are because the US outsources many maintenance jobs at their bases throughout the world. They have roving teams of techs that move to a different base every month or so. They teach a class or two, overhaul equipment, some all they do is paint satellite dishes.

One of my favorite civilian teachers was a grumpy old US Navy veteran, he was already retired but bored to stay at home so he took a job with a defense contractor. His job consists of flying to some specific bases oversea (not to combat zones) every other month. He spends a month at home, a month overseas then back home for a month. Every other overseas trip his wife joins him, so they travel around a lot.

I'm currently with a Christian drama ministry, Covenant Players. I've been with them over 20 years now, and have gotten to work in quite a few European countries -- Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, the Netherlands, Belgium, England, Wales, Germany -- and visit even more while I was over there. I currently have friends (also Americans, as am I) in Europe, Australasia, S Africa, S America, Japan, China, and other friends who are from those places. Fun, hm? Don't worry if you have little or even no drama experience. Everyone who joins receives comprehensive training in the particular style of drama that we perform.

I work from home for a company based in the US that just went international. I travel a minimum of 5X a year with them and absolutely love it! Heading to Hawaii next week! become a flight attendent or a pilot. or join the armed services, they travel the world too (although that's probably not what you are looking to do....)
