my source is - Children's Health in the Americas, a publication of the Pan American Health Organization.
FYI - compare that to 16.2 percent of white children who are, and the institutional racism seems obvious to me... it is wrong either way for any child to go hungry when there is so much wealth in the USA.
We are just greedy and immoral.

Maybe because the parents are too lazy to go out and get an education and then a job to feed them! Or maybe because the parents (of ANY color, who don't feed their kids) are too busy spending their money on crack instead of food for their kids.

Where are you sources for this. As fat as kids are today, I find your numbers very suspect. You know that kids can go 3-4 hours without a meal right?

Not sure on where you get the stats from. It is the parents problem, not the governments. We cannot fix all of society's ills. If you want to spend your money, fine. I do not want to spend mine.
