You are correct in the fact that there are two types of people and one is the type that want to rule and the other type that are happy following.

Lets check out the first of the two, the one that want to rule

Some people only think they are able to rule but do not have the intelligence to do so. These are normally the lower educated people who think that it is pretty cut and dry black and white but don't understand there are gray points in the middle.

Some people are highly educated but do not have common sense but a lot of education, which are looking for power and normally are used as a proxy for some special interest group. He is not smart enough to know he is being used and thinks he is really doing a good job. Because he is told he is. A good pat on the back and he is ready to go.

Then there the ones that should rule but don't get the chance because they will not conform to the special interest groups.

Then there are the followers who are normally the uneducated and do not keep up with what is going on in the world and in their local area. They feel that it don't matter what they think because the special interest groups will do whatever they like anyway which is true. They just don't know that if they learn what is going on they can help make changes.

So lets try to answer your questions.

1)do you think this is good or bad?

No it is not good and more education is needed which would help the quality of life for everyone.

2)can this stop happening with the best education?

As said in question # 1 education always helps. We just need to learn what type of education is needed to form the minds of the masses correctly without programming/brainwashing them to what we want them to believe to be the correct way of life.

3)has this become a part of our nature after all these years?

Yes it has been programmed in to our children which really should not be done. We need to teach in a non-bias way and allow the children to make up their minds on their own and not force a belief on them.

Having a ruler has it's benefits. Less decisions you have to make, someone to run to in times of trouble and someone to blame if things go wrong. Some honestly don't want to expend the effort to be a ruler. Those who want to rule want, Glory power, praise or they believe they can do it right. People are different colors with different likes and dislikes. This system just offers something for everyone.

Most people don't want to take the responsibility of making a decision and therefore would rather let someone else do it for them..
