Bill, hands down.

We never realized how good we had it under Clinton. If nothing else, Bush has shown us that.

Bill Clinton: One of the reasons the United States is in a quagmire with fanatical Islam, is because of the crappy handling of foreign policy during his (8) years. When Clinton took office, his goal was balancing budgets and financing home social programs. To do this, he cut military and defense budgets by 2/3rds. Part of these cuts included: Only (1) live-fire exercise for frontline soldiers per year... Strategic base closures...eliminating "black-ops."...Spy budget set to minimal. His thinking around this was that the Cold-War was over and that their was no significant country that threatened the U.S, and the only one in his opinion that did was China and he opened full trade relations with them.
During his tenure, these incidents occured: U.S.S Cole bombed in Yemen, The 1993 WTC Bombing, and the Tanzanian Embassy bombings. All of these were probe attacks. They were done to test the response of the U.S. Our response, launch a Tomahawk or two and that's it. This, in addition with the ****-UP in Somalia on his orders, proved the United States was in a complete state of unreadiness.
Now, with the Bog Down in Iraq, you have to realize this too. The Field Grade Officers ( Majors, Colonels, Generals ) and the Staff NCO's ( Staff Sgt's, Gunnery Sgt's. etc... ) are the ones who had their training and tactics taught in this era. They are NOT prepared. They are inferior and are now learning hard lessons because adequate training was not provided because Clinton saw to it that Social Parasite Programs took precedence.

Does this mean that I think George is a genius? No. I think he is an average President put into a ****** up situation that boiled over in his terms. What really scares me is to think how screwed up things would be if Gore or Kerry were President.

I wouldn't vote for either. Clinton was a disgrace. He brought the law into disrepute, being the US Chief Magistrate yet lying to a court. He also presided over the Waco fiasco, a war in Kosovo and elsewhere to take attention away from his misdeeds. He was sly and slick. He earned the name Slick Willie. You couldn't trust him further than you could spit. George is a bumbling idiot who is a warmonger. He shouldn't be left in charge of a 10 acre field of corn yet alone the most powerful country in the World. 'Better' is not an adjective I would use for either of them. Both were (and one still is) absolute disasters.

Compared to George, all prior presidents (even Nixon) were better presidents.

Bill Clinton, all the way. Sure, he messed up (and messed with Monica what's-her-face), but he soldiered on through the scandal and I admired him for that. Frankly, I did not care who he was banging, just keep the U.S. going.

Bush is a mentally constipated, over-indulged alcoholic playing God and on the verge of getting us all blown up.

All of this is my opinion and neither Libs nor Cons were harmed in the making of this message.

George! If Bill had worried less about sex with "that woman" and more about the country and the intelligence he was getting, maybe we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now.

Compare our economy now to what it was when Bill was president. Our economy was a whole lot better then.
