I have a teenager and he likes to skateboard and we want a nice friendly city. Where should be go? Which city? and Why move there?

I live in Texas and have lived in several different cities.
My favorite is Austin. It is very laid back and very friendly. It's pretty big, so there is plenty to do. Austin has a lot of cool off-the-wall places. No one in Austin cares what you are wearing.
I don't think Dallas is very friendly. Everything in Dallas is "name brand".
San Antonio is a good city, but a lot bigger than Austin.
Midland is a nice clean city, also, but only around 100,000 people so there are not as many choices.

Hi, wow I am wanting to move to TEXAS too. I am selling my home, and I want to move to Dallas, Texas and do a 1031 tax deferred exchange .
Anyways, I have been doing research and found some great sites that are very good. You can just select what you want about Texas and it will show you a list of areas.

Sugar Land is real nice and modern. It has a nice feal to it.

It's a huge state. I grew up in Fort Worth. I think Houston is too big and it's hurricane prone. Dallas is sprawling now too. I'd say San Antonio or Austin.
