i liver in the stone-age and still have dial up but why do i get disconnected. i unplug my phne so i know im not getting a new call.

Unplugging the phone does not stop calls from coming in. But, I not sure phone calls cause you to get dropped. When I had dial-up it seemed I got dropped more when there were more people on-line. So, it could be the Server of your ISP. Then again, it may be the phone company trying to get you to use their ISP. This all I know.

shop attempting till it connects... or get DSL or the different information superhighway that does no longer have a dial up. Dial united statesare linked with telephone lines so who's usual with what number anybody is attempting to connect jointly?? that frequently is the precedence..

connection set up is set to disconnect every twenty minutes, you can change that by UN checking the little box. right click on connection Icon then go to property then go to advance.

Sometimes it just feels like disconnecting. Go to roadrunner. You won't get hung up on.
