You will feel it in your gut-that your very essence is in the right place doing the right thing-for you. Many people stay stuck out of fear. And they surround themselves with lots of noise and denial-again, out of fear and all the crap society lays on them to conform. Be still and the wisdom within you will know your path, your purpose. It will, however, be your responsibility to make the choice to follow it. As Bradbury put it: "First you jump off the cliff and then you build wings on the way down."

How Do You Create Your Purpose? Follow These Easy Steps:
1.Ask Yourself "Who Am I"?
What kind of person are you. What's been true of you since you were younger? Write down all the attributes that you can think of that are truly you. List the things you naturally have learned and developed over the years. You probably take these things for granted, not recognizing them for the special, significant and unique gifts they actually are.
2.Ask Yourself "What Do I Love To Do?"
What do you absolutely, truly enjoy doing in your professional life? In your personal life? For each answer consider the gifts that have helped make them possible. Your purpose will involve doing something that you love.
3.Ask Yourself "What Experiences In Life Were Really Fulfilling For Me?"
Look for the times in your life that were fulfilling for you. These were times when you were just being yourself. Consider, What was it like for me while I was going through it? What was I feeling? What was important, special or meaningful for me? These answers hold the key to what you should be doing with your life.
4.Ask Yourself "What Is My Purpose In Life?"
Once your purpose becomes clearer, create a purpose statement. A Purpose Statement contains: an action, a focus, and an intended impact. Once you write it down, you have a roadmap to follow.
5.Ask Yourself "Who Can I Tell?"
Speaking your purpose will bring it into reality; and once you tell people, it becomes real. Plus, you'll have the support of those around you who want to encourage you to be who really are.
And what if you've done all this work and it hasn't come to you yet? It will. We were all put here for a reason. And, if you are determined to find your purpose, it will come your way. When something that strong is in your heart, it's only a matter of time before you discover what it is. The answer is out there; it's just a matter of finding the right question.

The main purpose of this life is to seek the Eternal Happiness. The life before descending on this earth was happy in the mother's womb! That is the reason why it cries when it comes out of the womb( and not laughs for its freedom) The search for happiness starts from there. The imprisonment in the womb was more happier than the freedom it got after the birth, because it has to strugle for its needs and existence which was not the case earlier. The same psychology continues more or less in the rest of the life, so people continue to struggle seeking happiness (the real purpose of life)but in a wrong dierction. The more you attache your happiness with matter material and men the more you become miserable in life ! If your happiness is mould modelled and cultivated in seeking by serving and helping otherswithout too much attachments you could be more happier in life and could achieve the real purpose of human life.

Just remember "A purpose in Life" does not equal your career.
Find out who you are, what is a simple statement about yourself that really summarizes who you are. A mission statement.
Mine is quite simple: "I am a helper, teacher, friend, and mentor."
If I act within that simple statement, I'm happy, feel successful, and have direction. When I stray from that, I tend to feel unfulfilled, stressed, unhappy.
Within that statement, my purpose has allowed me to be a Network Engineer, a Father, an Internet Marketer, and have assisted many people with starting and maintaining their own businesses.
My purpose is not my career, it is a direction, an attitude, a belief.

Hello Ryan,
Do we really need to find a purpose? Dont you keep on finding it at different stages of your life. It keeps on changing. God has not created mankind to do just one thing in whole life. Its much more than that.

Your purpose in life is something you should feel good about doing. Be it a job, a hobby, an interest, a need to help, or an adventure, etc. It could be anything you imagine it to be. Your purpose should give you a sense of doing something that's meant for you or right for you. Or, it could be something you feel great and proud about doing. But, one of the greatest things in life for you to discover is to find your purpose. Good luck in finding your purpose. Do the thing that makes you feel good inside, happy and proud.

Hello-I don't know how old you are but I know by the time I was 6 that I wanted to be a nurse. Find what really interests you and go from there. You will find if your job is really something you like you will secede. Good luck in what ever you choose in life.

Since each person is unique, from DNA to fingerprints, it's reasonable to believe that each of us also has a purpose, a reason for being, that is uniquely personal.
Danish thinker Søren Kierkegaard wrote in his Journal: "The thing is to understand myself, to see what God really wants me to do; the thing is to find a truth which is true for me, to find the idea for which I can live or die."
Purpose doesn't necessarily involve grand ideas or revolutionary inventions. Instead, it often springs from a commitment to be faithful in even the most undervalued tasks.
"Leaders who met at the recent State of the World Forum determined that the most important jobs in the world are parenting, teaching and healing," writes Laurie Beth Jones in The Path. "If you are parenting, teaching or healing others, consider your mission among the most important in the world." Knowing and fulfilling your life purpose brings you to a place of enthusiasm and excitement. It is the best place for you to be.
