i have just found out today i am pregnant with twins. i have a 6mth old boy. i am very excited and a little scared. the ultra sound said i was 8 weeks and 4 days but my period was july 19 which makes me more like 10 weeks. would the ultra sound result be more accurate than my period dates.

the ultrasound could be more accurate than your period dates or it could be that the babies are just smaller. i'm 9 weeks and 1 day pregnant with twins and both of my babies measure smaller than that. congrats and good luck!!

I would go by the ultrasound because it is more accurate. They are able to tell how the baby is growing to give a better date. Congrats on twins!

yes. Trust the ultrasound, I got pregnant w/o periods, so the doc went by the ultrasound. I thought it was wrong. I gave birth 1 day before my due date. It was obviously accurate!
