I love watching Jamaican movies on videos or just on t.v, and I find it interesting to learn about another culture and race. Jamaica is a beautiful land I would love to visit it one day. Not everything revolves around the weed and beer, people should just get to know the traditional owners of the land.

I always think of the movie "Cool Running" where a bobsled team from Jamaica goes to the Olympics.

Wow. That's a good question. I actually don't think that Jamaica actually conjures up any other thoughts than those except for violence. That's really too bad. Thanks for pointing that out to me, though. I'm going to learn more about Jamaica and its people...

From my incredibly limited experience- my physics teacher in H.S.was from jamaica- I think the accent is wonderful to listen to, and he told us his doctor wife used to be paid with bags full of pot. So... a physics teacher and a doctor.. I conclude the population is well educated. Could I be wrong?

well we really don't think about them we have our problem here to think about of in there land but it will be nice to visit the Island
