When ever a prominent Black, Jew, Asian or Latino speaks it is taken for granted that he is speaking with the particular interests of his ethnic group at heart. No one would call Jessie Jackson a racist when he speaks out for the interests of blacks. Only whites are held to a higher standard where they are expected to disregard the interests of white people and be concerned with the good of all people regardless of race.

I know exactly what you're saying. We're judged in a completely different way from any other group. With anyone else, the fact that they're not angels, just means they're people. With us, if we're not White angels, then we're "White devils". We can't ever just be people ......

At least not until we stop letting all these other groups define us to ourselves....

Don't you hear all the ridicule our Secretary of State and Thomas Sowell gets from minorities? It's not that whites are held to a higher standard... Minorities aren't allowed to have an opinion other than what Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, the media and Harry Bellefonte decrees to be correct.

Morality is not a matter of color, rather it is a matter of the heart, and how one deals and sees their fellow man. The reason that individuals such as Jesse Jackson are not called racist is because of our politically correct society. Anyone who places their race above another is a racist. What happens when the whites become the minority, as is happening in Los Angeles. Will it then be the Hispanics turn to look out for the welfare of the whites? Morality for years has been tried to be installed legislatively, but morality is a matter of individuals and of how they think and behave.

no one race is more superior...and why would whites be more superior just because they speak for the crowds that's retarded!...i think you're a little confused....however I will say that I do know one thing i think is wrong...that as a white person we could never have a magazine called whitie...or the WHITE ENTERTAINMENT channel!! like there is a EBONY magazine and the BET....can you imagine if a a white person did that!! we'd be called prejudice right away so there is definitely a double standard to just about everything in life...not just this subject

Whites are not morally superior. Society has become so racially conscious that we go overboard to protect minorities to the point of almost becoming racist to the majority. There will never be a perfect world, but in answer to your question, no race is morally superior to another. We are all equal and should be considered so.

no race is morally superior than the other......its only slavery and the past that has made suggestions to whites being superior, but they arent becuz they cant survive without the other races and vice versa.......in slavery if the black man had not worked for the white, they couldnt hav had a prosperous business without the blacks...... and the indentured workers which were indians, chinese, etc helped the whites too........the only difference then wuz that the whites were more educated and civilised than other races, but not superior....that fact remains the same today, only now the other races are more educated than in the past.....equality remains, its just the perception of some pple of who is superior to who that is poisoning society.....

No one race is superior to any other. There are evil forces at work in the world stirring up trouble. Hate and bigotry have been around almost as long as humans have. Ripe pickings for Satan and his ilk.

There's a difference between race, ethnicity, and culture. Race is a scientifically unsound concept, but ethnicity and culture make a difference. You don't get to choose your ethnicity but you do get to choose your culture. Whites are pretty good but its really a coincidence, of race and culture. Hindus are pretty good. It's the Ay-rabs that are really screwed up.

I don't hold you to any standard at all. As a matter of fact, any person who has not been born again (see http://www.faithcenteredresources.com/salvation.asp?source=overture) does not possess the ability to fully comprehend God's standards (morals). Does that settle it for you? Your self-imposed status of moral superiority has just been officially removed. It's more than a bit pathetic that you should need to come to YA for support in needing to find someone over whom to feel superior. Finding your purpose in God's plan should be enough. According to His Word, there is "no Jew nor Greek, no slave nor free, no male or female" in Him. The only distinction between people groups EVER empathized by God were to separate from those who made a deliberate decision not to serve Him. All strangers and foreigners, no matter what ethnic background, were to be received as if they had *always been* a part of the people of God. When Miriam led others in protesting the marriage of Moses to an African, she was struck with leprosy-- by GOD HIMSELF. That alone would be enough for me to never get on any race-superiority bandwagon.

The whole Blacks resulting from the curse-of-Canaan thing (OR 'Cain's mark') drummed up by the White-is-best camp is nonsense. I can't find one actual student of the Bible that is able to prove that God originated any such lie. Every part of the ‘cursed’ Canaanites was long ago obliterated, and God never implied that Ham himself (from whom some Africans descended) was cursed. Nowhere in the original text does it actually say that Ham is cursed. Saying that Ham was cursed has been the excuse for many unfounded beliefs supporting slavery and racism.

All the race-identity people seem to be inbred people with strong anti-social problems, mostly related to childhood abuse or rejection. In an attempt to compensate for problems stemming from intellectually inferiority, they take the lazy bully's way out and simply seek someone over whom they might feel superior. Facts are irrelevant to such boors. Never mind that we're all obviously related (and that makes people so much more interesting-- let alone heterogeneously a much stronger species. Most white Americans (just those with no other apparent mix) have 5% 'Black' genes, and many other as well (Jewish, Native American, etc.). Most Black Americans have about 20% European ancestry, and many 'other.' A huge proportion of this nation's major inventions were, with or without accreditation, created by African Americans, even without the same opportunities. Does this make them intellectually superior? A far greater percentage of Black people than Whites are involved in church and faith-related activity in this country; does this classify people of color as being morally superior? By much better-described examples than yours, one might draw such conclusions... unless one were not truly involved in an intellectual debate, but had accidentally stumbled into a 'forum' with emotionally-stunted neanderthals, unable to maintain any strain of pure logic, but only devolve into grunts and other outbursts of emotion.

I pray that you find peace and resolution to your issues. Neither your skin, your country, your ‘heritage’ (means nothing in the context of the environment in which you were raised), or your gene pool (98% the same as the rest of the world’s population) will give you the affirmation that you crave. You will find this only in the security of the acceptance of the Lord Jesus (His of you) after you have received Him as Lord.

Interesting that one of your other questions is about histrionic personality disorder- you asking this question is more of a borderline move- do you think you're gonna get an answer that people would agree with here? Of course not, you're getting a raise out of people.

Sir, that's reprehensible. Please get your therapy and keep your vitriole to yourself until then.
