I have marks on my face from Acne (mayb scars) will it ever go away, if so.. how long will it take?

I had serious acne as a teenager, as well as some facial scarring. I'm 46 years old now, and many of the marks have worn away naturally from wasking off the dead skin cells. But unfortunately, many of the scars have remained intact. If you really feel self-conscious about them, I would recommend seeing a dermatologist. Thanks to today's modern laser technology, a lot of scars can be significantly reduced or removed altogether. And some insurance policies may allow you to cover part of the expenses on your policy. Check around.

Almost always it doesn't go away. There are ways to make it less noticible but will probably be expensive. Micro dermabrasion is probably the best solution. I'd look into the new kits that are being sold in drug stores, over the counter. I'm sure they'er not as strong as a professional treatment but a lot cheaper. You might get advice from a skin specialist and see what they recommend.
There are several good, well known actors who have scars from what must have been acne. Jimmy Smits, James Wood and the guy who played on a cop show on TV. His name escapes me.

Well, I kno that you're a guy and everything, but exfoliating creams can really help. There's also microderm abrasion kits that take off the first layer of skin and you can do it about once a week and after a month or two, new skin starts to appear and it will seriously reduce them. That's what I did to my boyfriend and it really worked for him but don't tell him I told you lol. They also have laser treatment that you can get at the doctor but its expensive... um and there's also a cream, I think that natures cure company makes it, that you can put on your face and it reduces them but it takes like six months. Hope I helped. :)

sorry buddy, but the acne scars stay for life.
but u know what. it aint bad on dudes.
in the years to come it gives your face character.
chicks kinda dig that.

the dark scar hard to fade away ,but can be reduce depend on how dark and deep, use whitening and UV cream SPF30(Licorice). everyday. or use spot remover.
