Try dropping the noun and just look/listen to the pronoun.
1. We have been given a bad name.
2. Us have been given a bad name.
3. The last election was won by we.

None is correct. We need some extra comma to distinguish subject and vocative elements in the sentence (liberals) or (conservatives). These are not subjects/object, just help to indentify more for the subjects/objects, so comma is needed to clarify.

Strictly speaking, one is alright grammatically, although it's still a rather weak sentence. What is it with people and the passive voice?? What are YOUR thoughts? Next time you post a question, try including the details of WHY you think your answer is what it is. That will help people HELP you, rather than just having people post the answers for you.

Very clever of you to sneak those observations in here. You know which ones are correct, and I don't mean politically correct either. LMAO.

i'd say number 1. we is the right pronoun, have been agrees with the subject we, and the latter part with the object and prepositional phrase seem fine.
