It's not the best thing to feed the guinea pig. If you can't take it back, try mixing it with guinea pig food. Make sure that your guinea pig gets vitamin C. You should probably be giving it extra anyway because the guinea pig pellets don't have that much vitamin c in them and it doesn't last that long.

NO NO NO NO NO!
If you feed your guinea pig this food, especially if you do not supplement your pig with fruits and veggies, he will have scurvy within a week or two. Do you know what scurvy does? It locks up their joints, it loosens their teeth, it causes them severe pain, their hair falls out, among many other symptoms.
Take it back. Pellets are the main staple of a guinea pigs diet and they are fortified with C for a reason. We supplement with fruits and veggies to help keep them going, but you still need a solid foundation.
A lot of people buy rabbit food because they are cheap and ignorant and those poor pigs have half the lifespan of a normal pig and die excruciating deaths.
Take the time to take it back.

I have always fed my rabbits, guinea pigs, rats and mice the same food (and it is horse feed!) and never had any health issues or nutritional deficiencies because of it. If you are providing your guinea pigs with the correct amount of fresh produce each day there is no reason why they would have a vitamin C deficiency. Guinea Pigs require about 1 cup of fresh fruit and veggies each per day. Dont even worry about vitamin suppliments- they arent worth it- as long as your pets are getting the right amount of fresh food there is no reason they should have any problems or nutritional defiencies.

It won't hurt the guinea pig to eat rabbit food for awhile, it's pretty similar stuff. You can even mix the two together when you get the proper food so none will go to waste.

You could get by in a pinch on rabbit food, for awhile.
However, they have a different metabolism and require more fortified feed.
Don't make a habbit of feeding the less expensive rabbit food.
Once and awhile won't hurt.

it's fine. My piggies doesn't eat their food. they love rabbit food. so i put fresh fruit in their cage to make up for the vit.C. My Piggies are picky eaters. if they don't get their rabbit food they'll knock over their guinea pig food. :|
