No, your computer cannot accept text messages, but you can send it to an email address. Just enter your email address where you would normally enter a phone number to send a picture.

I've got an Lg w/Verizon W/less, I've taken pix on the cell camera and then just emailed them to my home comp. Have to have the email addy stored under "contacts" or enter it in yourself. U could also sign up for the "Verizon Pix Place", kinda like aol's "U got Pictures" web storage site, and send them to the Veriz. Pix Place and then retrieve from your home comp. Unless you attatch a text msg to the email I don't think there is an additional chg other than your reg minutes usage.

Here are a couple of choices:
1. E-mail the pictures to yourself by viewing the picture, using the Send option and entering your e-mail address.
2. Buy the USB cable connection specific to your phone and transfer the photos directly.
3. If you have Bluetooth on both your phone and your computer you could transfer them wirelessly.
4. Some photo services like Kodak Gallery, www.kodakgallery.com now let you register your mobile number and send your pictures directly to a photo album on their site. This option doesn't really get them to your computer but you can order prints if you want.
Hope this helps!
