I wish i could advise you here... ive tried all the 'solutions' ive been given so far and none of them have got me anywhere... even down to meeting someone else - that didnt work either.
Time is a healer... guess you'll just have to leave it as that and hope that time hurries up for you! (as i am!)

God mate I feel for you because I'm going through the same thing.
I'm married but had an affair and fell in love with this woman. She seemed everything to me and I could see a future for both of us, she was feeling that way to but it ended up her husband found out and days later so did my wife. Everything changed when she decided to stay with her husband and work on their marriage.
I later found out she was playing her involvement in our affair down and I must admit I did the same thing to in order to stay at home. So now me and the wife are giving our marriage another try but I'm having problems trying to get over my girlfriend and its killing me in the process. I don't think you can stop loving someone you fell in love with that easy even when a relationship ends. They say time is a healer and i guess I'll just have to let time help me through this. I love my wife to but its making little difference as to how I really feel but I've got to try at least.
Sorry I'm not much help on this but I know how you feel.

You cant just stop loving someone, keep busy and when you do think of her try not to be too bitter about it, people come in and out of our lives all the time, its just life, painful tho it is you will learn to live with it.
Try something new, like a new sport or something, change your life in small ways, every time you do you will be moving on.

its not something that you can wish that will go away and will. It's not that simple hun. You need to look for another girl and somehow concentrate on something else. Obviously if you are not with her, you are better than her, so find something better to do.! good luck sweetie!

Just try to get on with your life and you will find that you will think of her less and less. not totally though, but it will improve.
