When you are dancing, relax by taking deep breaths with your abdomen (stomach) and letting out the air slowly through your nose and mouth. Also, dance by keeping your bodies apart so that you don't feel awkward being too close. Focus on dancing smoothly enjoying the movements with the music. Also, what can really help is to imagine that you are a really good dancer. If you visualize (imagine) that, it will take away the tension and you are not focusing too much on the uncomfortable things that are happening while you are dancing. Or, you can emulate (be like) somebody who you think is a really good dancer. If you can learn to relax with the above tips then you can enjoy dancing more with the girl without thinking about all the awkwardness. Good luck and have fun!

There isn't really a way. Just relax. Hold the girl gently and just kind of move along the floor to the sound of the music, with a kind of swaying motion. You don't have to do any special steps when slow dancing this way. What is important is to simply relax and enjoy yourself.

If You are 13 You not yet understand why people dance in a slow way. The love to get contact and feeling.
In Your age You need much more the movement and action of Your whole body.

Be confident and don't press the girl out of her comfort zone, but don't seem antisocial about it either. Just dance and have fun and, hopefully, your relaxation will pass to her.

Just hold her by the shoulders, and don't press yourself onto her lower section, put your head beside hers and sway to the music.
