...instead of those weird shaped torture device that can only be opened with a very strange key? I cut my finger really badly two weeks ago and it's only just got to the point where I can use that finger again in my day to day tasks.
Who agrees with me that corned beef should be sold in normal cans that can be opened with a tin opener at both ends, then you slide the beef out....it would save so many people from nearly slicing fingers off!

Believe it or not, years ago a lot of canned meat products had to be opened with a little key like that. I agree with you, though, that is one peculiar shape for a can. I've always figured that it's probably the last act of some disgruntled packaging engineer who'd already given his notice.

Yes they should be sold in the same can they sell the corn beef hash in...It's hard to get into the cornbeef cans..

Yes but people like them because they are quaint. I personally wish they would stop using corks for wine. Just put a screw cap on it for Christ's sake!!!!
