Hey, Hunny.
All I can tell you is that he is from Ireland, not sure what part, it does tell you tho' in small writing at the very start of the ad, also, if you go into any halifax branch, their 'stars' are on the literature that they are promoting.................gotta say, I think the ad's are very well done and considering the stars are counter clerks, think they do very well too.

Yes, his name is Frank Montana and he is a cowboy from Utah. his mother was Louise Montana and she ran a Mormon brothel in a community named for its founder, Saint Alicia of the dusty cloth, that made its economic prosperity exporting tobacco crops and a popular newspaper named the dusty standard which had a large circulation in the nineteen-twenties. Frank grew up wise to many different kinds of business and when the people of Saint Alicia finally packed it in and dispersed for various parts of Kansas and elsewhere in the Midwest, Frank decided to hightail it up to Canada where he made a steady living in a new profession, acting. he had several minor roles in various productions of Shakespeare and Ibsen and finally became a household face when the bank of Labrador cast him in the enduring spot where he sings rhinestone cowboy
