I used to work in a warehouse. And for some reason the guys were truly proud of their farts.
They were rated by length, loudness and smell.
If it smelled really bad the guys would clap and yell "Good Job"
I don't know maybe it is a man thing. Actually I could tolerate that better than when they decided to see who can spit the highest and then catch it in their mouth.
When that started I usually went inside the office.

I think that's absolutely HILARIOUS!! Hell No, that should not be saved for the restroom..It seems embarrassing, but its really just another normal bodily function - I wish more people wouldn't take it so seriously...
If that happened more often at work, I'd be laughing my *** OFF!! all day, even from mere thoughts of it. ..Good stress reliever by the way. Good Question ;-)

farts are totally hilarious in any situation. a candid camera moment! in an office, yes, farts should be contained within the restroom.
depending on the level of foul-smelling farts one produce can be mistaken for a
gas explosion or leakage, and thus cause widespread panic.

It doesn't bother me at all. I belong to the Brotherhood of Flatulence, and our code is to let it rip where-ever that may be. There should be a federal code making it ok to fart without reprisal. Equal Opportunity Flatulence.

Nope. If you're gonna blow, there's nothing that can be done about it.If I ran to the restroom every time I felt one coming, I'd spend pretty much my whole day in there.

Of course it should! That's really gross. I think farting and burping don't belong at work, or in very many situations for that matter.

yes yes yes!! or your car or your home or somewhere I won't have to smell it! I mean sometimes I know you can't help it so at least go in the back of the room or something where no one else will be effected!

Depends on what kind of work the person is doing,like working on a conveyor belt you can't just leave it.
