I think that it is stupid for any black person to hate someone who is white because of something that happened 400 years ago.
I am a black women and I do not have a problem with white people at all however, if someone is being racists towards me I do not have a reason to like that person. Not because he/she is white I just have a problem who are racists and ignorant people.
I have seen a few white women give me this look, when I am walking towards them and personally I feel that they are just jeolous.

Oh, lady. You are confused. I experience the same thing as a light-skinned black female. You are not excepted because you are too light to be accepted by the blacks, and you are part African American so you are not accepted by whites either. You have just experienced the most ignorant. The only reason that I dislike a person, is if they do not like me. Slavery is not just something that you get over. In the minds of many, black people are not good enough and never will be. When you experience that glass ceiling, you will understand that in several instances, people are stepping on your head to keep minorities (not just black people) form succeeding. I do not hate any race of people; because if I do, my thinking will be as primitive as any other racist.

That's very profound from such a young person. Not all black people hate white people. Although it is true that many black people especially those older still hurt from the pain of racism, segregation and many other atrocities committed by white Americans.
I have meet some white people so nice it would make you think Jesus was white.
Centuries of harsh treatment by white Americans is not easily put under a rug. Though I know many white people wish it were so it is not. Imagine you were a freed slave and you have experienced all the horrors associated with bondage in this country then one day your master says , "Go along now they say your free no hard feelings." , do you think you deserve some compensation for the years of making him rich?
Educate yourself further on African American History and you will see more clearly why a separation exists between some.

You are a confused person if you are bi-racial and making such a stupid statement. Apparently there was one black person who didn't hate white people.
You are making a generalization. Black people don't hate white people any more than white people don't hate black people.
If you are really a bi-racial 12 year old, which I doubt due to the wording of your paragraph, you will learn nice little life lessons along your journey. Ask this question again in about 15 years.

I can see why you would come to this question, i have plenty of black friends and one of them before had hated white people, the reason THEY had said, was because of the slavery thing and they felt (along with their family) that we "thought" that we were better than them and we owed them something for what our ancestors did in the PAST. you are right. it IS something of the past, and as SOME people ^^ the girl above calls u a ***** for it saying no one hates her. prolly cuz she has something up her *** and thinks she little miss perfect. but its the REAL world, and it might not be happening in her gated community but it is everywhere, its just what has happened and it wont change. people will be classified as racist always. either white, black, chinese, we wish it wouldnt be. but it is. we are ALL equal, skin color doesnt matter. its just how you handle yourself

We don't have to go as far back as slavery to find a reason to hate white people; there are many reasons here in the present. Honestly, hating a whole group of people based on the actions of some is foolish and destructive. My motto is to remain neutral; if you give an individual enough time, they will give you a good reason to hate them. :-)

Well its as good an excuse as any if you are really just looking for something to blame it on. I think it more has to do with them being jealous of their relative lack of success (economically) compared to whites and successful blacks who they consider "act white".
I don't feel guilty at all for what slave owning whites did. Only bad about the repercussions that we now face today due to us being a very heterogenous country with big problems.
Slavery was not and has never been restricted to whites either. Did you know that there is still slavery in certain parts of Africa?
If anything blacks who live in North America should be very grateful to live here in this day and age: Africa is a quagmire and going through severe famine and pestilence. What you see on the media about Africa can't even begin to describe how bad it has gotten.

I dont think that the black people that do hate white people hate them because of slavery i think its because of what happens all around them all the time like whites look at us sometimes with disgust and they seem scared of us so thats why i think some blacks hate whites.

I don't hate white people and I sure as heck don't use slavery as an excuse for anything. It's not nice to make generalizations about people.

They just want an excuse. Most blacks do not even have an ancester that was a slave. Their ancesters mostly came after slavery. Like most of every culture. The population has quadrupled since slavery and over half of that is due to people that came here AFTER slavery.
