I need it for a High School lab report. I can't find information anywhere, even on Wikipedia there is nothing. A link to a site or straight information would be great!

A prepared slide is made by taking a sample of something, staining it, and then permanently affixing it using a gum medium or a transparent glue.

That's a very broad subject. I make anywhere from 100 to 500 prepared slides a week, from all kinds of animal tissues, as well as microorganisms. Would be glad to help out but there are whole books written on the subject. It isn't all that simple. Maybe you can narrow down your question a bit?
