"When the moon is in the southern house, and jupiter aligns with mars, peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars" - "Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In" by The Fifth Dimension.

Good question, astrologers have debating this for years, so it depends on who you believe? Some say it started in 1998 when Neptune and Uranus went into Aquarius. Some say it's 2012 when the Mayan calender changes. I believe were on the cusp of Aquarius, the more I study astrology, the more I believe that we are closer to a new age. However, before this can happen old structures or governments need to deconstruct, especially those lead by religions.

*Pluto goes into *Capricorn in 2008 which will hopefully bring the demise of our current structure. Peoples have to resist being lead by governments, like sheep. Too keep being lead like this, is empowering government on its own terms. I await the age of Aquarius, independent, unconventional, friendly, humanitarian, progressive, intuitive. Uranus, ruler of Aquarius, despises existing order-no matter what it is, and keeps trying to get everyone else to change...Happens to love fighting governments too.Hopefully, sometime between 2008 and 2012, just "my guess".

Food for thought; *The Earth takes 25,868 years to pass, (in retrograde motion) through the 12 constellations. It takes approximately 2,500 years to travel through each sign of the zodiac, and these periods are known as "ages". The constellations are widely spaced and some overlap each other; astronomically, the overlap can last as long as 500 years. The dates anyone offers are highly approximate, so we cannot know precisely when one age gives way in favor of the next. This is why the debate goes on, "great question"!

Even the astrological community is sharply divided on this question with some prominent astrologers proclaiming the *Age of Aquarius* has already begun, using the first atomic bomb in 1945 or a rare celestial combination on February 5, 1962 with all seven original planets aligned in Aquarius on a total solar eclipse as the initial, initiating epoch.

On the other hand it takes approximately 71.9 years for the heavens to move one degree, thus 30 degrees would take 2157 years. There is a general agreement that the *Age of Pisces* began with the birth of Jesus Christ some two thousand years ago which I support as well.

It is almost impossible to put an exact date on it, but The *Age of Aquarius* will begin earliest sometime between 2160-2164. However there will be a long preview or introduction starting with a Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in Aquarius at the Winter Solstice in Dec. 2020 and continuing every 20 years until 2160. Fasten your *time* belts.

We're in Aquarius now. It won't happen again for about 12,000 years or so.
