I am tired of doing the yellow pages and explaining my situation. Is there a website I can put out my fact situation and have lawyers contact me if they are interested? If not, any other out-side-the-box solutions would be appreciated. Tried a referral service, poor results. I would even consider hiring one! Any ideas on sites lawyers look for employment? There are two websites that I know up that might be of interest to you: Legalmatch.com and Lawguru.com.
On the Legalmatch.com website, attorneys pay to be one of very few attorneys in a practice area for a certain geographical area. Their advertising rates were a little steep for me, so I do not advertise there. You input your case information and it is emailed to a small group of attorneys for review.
On Lawguru.com, any attorney can sign up for free. You input your case information and you might have many attorneys respond to your question publicly. If you like the answer, you can contact the attorney for further information.
I would check them both out to see what kind of response you get.

If you need an employment lawyer, then you should look at the websites for employment lawyers on the American Bar Association and American Trial Lawyers Association web sites. Often, the most experienced lawyers are not the ones on the legal match sites, because those are the lawyers who are still building a business. If you are having a problem finding a lawyer to take your case, maybe you don't have a case to take.

One service that does this is legalmatch.com - I can't vouch for the attorneys that handle your type of case in your area, but that's the system they use.
An alternative, of course, is to write a summary of the pertinent information and e-mail it as an attachment to each attorney who agrees to review your case.
