Hypocrisy--that's just an excuse not to go to church. What about all the good people that you find at church? Because there are a few hypocrites or a few who like to judge, that will not keep me from my church. I love most of the members of my congregation. No one is going to keep me from worshiping my god in his place. I refuse to ex-communicate myself from the body of Christ on account of certain people within the body who really aren't that important. Other people's opinion does not matter to me. I think people who have a problem with other people's opinions in the church must find that it has some truth to it so they feel guilty and angry or they become defensive and shield themselves by not going to church. You should go to church to be apart of the body of Christ--be apart of the faithful gathering together to magnify the Lord, hear his word, praise his name and to feel his holy spirit in the midst among the community of believers. I think that those who claim hypocrisy place more importance on certain people than on God and Jesus. I will choose Jesus over them any day--they and what they think don't make a difference to me, but Jesus who has made all the difference in my life means everything to me. They can't do anything for me, but Jesus can do and has done so much for me. I have to be and I love to be in his presence. All have sinned from people inside the church to people outside the church, but God still loves us and he gave us another chance through his son Jesus--everytime someone says that they don't go to church because of hypocrites, the devil just laughs and applauds. Actually, a hypocrite is someone who acts contrary to what he/she says he/she believes in. The people who say the believe in God and go to church to hear his word and worship him are being true to their religion and true to what they say--there is no false appearance. There might be those who act like they are better than you, but you are more of a hypocrite if you claim you believe in him but you do not have a love to hear his word or to magnify him and praise with your fellow believers.

The focus of my spirituality and my religious life is centered in my home. Most organized religion centers are suffering from edifice complexes and I am not into that at all.
